A visit to Lubbock during the first of the month is only complete with stopping by the First Friday Art Trail (FFAT) hosted by LHUCA. FFAT is a free, self-guided art tour held in the Lubbock Cultural District in partnership with various art centers, museums, galleries, and businesses located downtown. While there, enjoy live music, food trucks, and art from local, national, and international artists.

Head over to one of Betenbough Home’s New Home Centers to enjoy complimentary photos with Santa, a hot cocoa bar, treats, cookie decorating and Christmas music.

Walk into a winter wonderland, home to a 38-foot Christmas tree, 20-foot wreath, and over 25,000 lights surrounding Memorial Circle. Spectators can watch the lighting ceremony while enjoying hot cocoa and enjoy Christmas carols performed by Texas Tech’s Combined Choirs.

Four Bar K hosts Friday Lunch every week from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. This event includes two trips through the buffet, free beer, and live music. Tickets are $12 per person. 

Lubbock locals and visitors are invited to shop artisan, boutique and farmer’s market goods at Prairie Blossom Marketplace. Grab your pets and family and head out for a day of shopping and food tastings. The market is open Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 – 4 p.m. on the first and third weekends of the month.

This holiday season, Buddy the Elf is coming to Lubbock! Enjoy the full Elf film as it plays on the big screen with a live symphony orchestra. 

Listen as Skip performs this holiday show centered around his Christmas favorites and songs that remind him of the holidays.  

Treat your furry friends to a photo with Santa and stop by several local vendors to pick out the purr-fect gift for your four-legged family members. Pictures with Santa are $5 per family. 

Stop by Saturdays from 5-8 p.m. to shop your favorite sips at one of Lubbock’s premier wineries. 

Choose from three different designs to paint at this guided class. Stop by the vendor market before or after your guided painting class to shop or grab a bite to eat!

Llano Estacado Winery is hosting its first Christmas Market, with local vendors, music, food, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, and a snowball fight! Admission is free. 

Get your Christmas shopping done at the 2nd Annual Winter Market. Browse through vendor, artisan and small business booths, and make sure to stop by one of the food trucks before you head out!

A concert in honor of an incredible mentor, Johannes Bjerregaard’s musical associates, friends and Caldwell Productions are joining forces to prduce a show a the Cactus Theater. 

Lubbock residents and visitors are invited to enjoy local food trucks during their lunch hour, between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m in the Civic Center parking lot.

Enjoy a Christmas celebration with a live band, featuring vocal and instrumental holiday and Irish favorites and world-class champion Irish dancing. 

Head over to the Silent Wings Museum for a Pearl Harbor Rememberance Day celebration. Admission is free and the event kicks off at 10 a.m.

Unwind with a night of wine and wellness at English Newsom Cellars. Angie Alspaugh, a certified yoga instructor, will help you focus on cultivating balance and peace within. Tickets are available to purchase on the winery’s website.

Travel to the Land of Sweets during this magical performance of the classic Christmas ballet. Performances will be December 8-11 at varying times. Tickets are on sale now!

Bundle up and grab your four-legged friends for a night by the firepit enjoying complimentary s’mores, treats, pictures with Santa and a chance to win a night away at Cotton Court. 

This holiday classic is coming to life through a live radio broadcast at the Lubbock Community Theatre. Tickets are on sale now!

This adult-only comedy show is full of raw and uncut content made to bring you a few laughs this holiday season. Tickets are $20. 

First United Methodist Church’s Chancel Choir will be performing at this free event! Enjoy Christmas carols, food trucks, ornament and cookie decorating and hot chocolate and cookies. 

Broadway star David Gaschen is coming back to his hometown for an evening of song and celebration. This event includes a few surprises, so get your tickets now!

Experience a frontier Christmas at the National Ranching Heritage Center during the 44th Annual Candlelight at the Ranch. Enjoy a tour of historic structures with live reenactments from volunteers, a visit with Santa Claus, refreshments, and live music with a Texas swing.

Perfect for children ages 3-12, this holiday tradition includes free activities in the museum lobby from science experiments to photos with Santa and everything in between! Standard admission rates apply to the museum and OMNI Theater.

Lubbock Parks and Recreation is hosting its annual Santa Land through December 22! With nearly 50,000 visitors each year, this festive holiday village is the perfect place to enjoy animated displays, bonfires, traditional holiday scenes and the 50ft lit Christmas tree.
