Museum of Texas Tech University 

Founded in 1929, the Museum of Texas Tech University is full of artifacts new and old ranging from stunning artwork to ancient fossils. With a diverse range of galleries and over 8 million objects, there is something new to be discovered each time you visit. Don’t forget to check out their newest rotating exhibit, Louise Hopkins Underwood, to learn more about her fashion and impact on the cultural arts in West Texas.

With a plethora of hands-on displays, visitors can get up close and personal with the tools and machines used in agriculture throughout the region. American Windmill Museum

Being the largest windmill museum in the world, visitors are sure to get an authentic look into these fascinating and innovative machines used throughout the United States. Along with the history of wind energy, the museum also features several model train exhibits as well as miniature-sized art.

Silent Wings Museum

A must-visit for history buffs, the Silent Wings Museum gives you an informative look into the rich history of World War II gliders, weapons and pilots.
