Every day is taco Tuesday in the LBK! Lubbock has a wide range of local favorites that will keep you coming back for more, and we are on the hunt for the best tacos in town. Take a look at our list of delicious options that are packed with mouthwatering flavor and authenticity.

Elotes | 602 Donald Preston Dr #104, Wolfforth Tx | (806) 855-2023
Head south to visit Wollforth’s newest must-try. At Elotes, the chef puts a local twist on a tradition favorite. Guests can’t go wrong when trying the baby back rib taco (does anything sound more Texas than that?) and delicious roasted Elotes, a sweet corn mixture missed with mayo, crema, chili powder and cheese.

Now We Taco’N Taqueria | 1021 University Ave | (806) 778-6913
At Now We Taco’N Taqueria, quality meets authenticity. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this taco hot spot since my first bite into a carne asada street taco. The ratio of cilantro, onion and lime to the flavorful meat is scientific.  If you love a good taco, you can try out Now We Taco’N Taqueria’s food truck or restaurant near Texas Tech University campus!

Chimy’s | 2417 Broadway | (806) 763- 7369
Chimy’s is a “Hub City” staple that serves margaritas that pack a punch and pair well with the many great food options available. But, it’s the tacos you can’t miss out on. Chimy’s has a range of fish tacos, soft or crispy, with all the combinations you could ask for. We recommend the green chili chicken soft taco. You can’t go wrong with Chimy’s fun atmosphere – day or night!

Aranda’s Taqueria | 4001 34th St | (806) 687-1939
Any taco connoisseur knows the homemade flour tortilla and salsa can go a long way when it comes to the quality of the meal. And, at Aranda’s, guests won’t be left disappointed. The endless options like carne asada, barbacoa, carne guisada, al pastor, will make you want to spend every taco Tuesday at this local favorite!

Taqueria Autlán | 2722 50th St. | (806) 785-1717
With family-owned recipes from Guadalajara, Mexico, you will love the flavors brought to the table here at Taqueria Autlán. This authentic gem is named after the city Autlán de Navarro. Your love for tacos will grow stronger with each bite when you try their delicious selections of carne asada, el pastor, carnitas, barbacoa, or buche. Be sure to try out their chips and incredible salsa while you visit!
