Roses are red, violets are blue and Lubbock is for lovers like you! When it comes to planning your Valentine’s Staycation, Lubbock doesn’t skip a beat. From hotel packages to curated menus and entertainment options, enjoy a v-day stay-cay in the LBK!

In this city where art, music and culture collide, the holidays in “Hub City” are like no other. Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or are new to the area, get ready to explore your own backyard this February.

Planning your stay

Downtown Lubbock is the perfect place to choose as your homestead for the week! With many restaurants and events close by, choosing a hotel downtown will put you a short drive or walk away to many items on our Valentine’s itinerary.

Cotton Court Hotel

The Cotton Court Hotel opened its doors in 2020 and sits along the iconic bricks of Broadway. Steps away from Lubbock’s business and cultural district, the Cotton Court Hotel is the perfect place to base your Valentine’s getaway at.

This year, they’re offering a Love Is In The Air package. Valid for stays from February 12th – 18th, 2023, this package includes relaxed guest room accommodations for two. Upon arrival, guests will receive a welcome amenity of champagne and mini desserts. Guests may also enjoy a locally inspired breakfast for two at their Midnight Shift restaurant.

A destination within itself, the Cotton Court hotel is also home to on-site music performances, a vast courtyard filled with activities, fire pits and a heated resort pool. Look no further for a spot to relax during your free time with Cotton Court’s immense amenities.

MCM Eleganté

Calling all movie lovers! MCM Eleganté has partnered with Lubbock’s celebrated Cactus Theater to offer three different Valentine’s packages

On February 14, the Cactus Theater is hosting a special screening of the classic romance film, “Sleepless in Seattle.” Couples can choose to enjoy the screening alone or add on dinner and a one-night stay at the MCM Eleganté in downtown Lubbock.

The first couples package includes heavy hors d’oeuvres before the movie and the film screening at Cactus Theater.

Couples who choose the second package will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres before the movie, the screening, and a ride to MCM Eleganté that includes dinner for two.

The last package includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, the screening, dinner following the film and a king suite for an overnight stay with breakfast the next morning.

Package pricing and event ticket can be found here!
