Dance your way through Lubbock’s Depot District under the instruction of award-winning Tango teacher, Leah Anne. There is a $10 attendance fee.

Four Bar K hosts Friday Lunch every week from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. This event includes two trips through the buffet, free beer, and live music. Tickets are $12 per person.

May 5 – Eternal Light

The Lubbock Chorale is hosting a performance exploring life’s challenges, differences and shortcomings. Hoping to bright light to Lubbock, the local arts organization has opened tickets for purchase online.

This one-night production is full of hit songs performed by the most talented kids in West Texas! Performers from 6 to 18 years old are bringing award-winning music their way. Tickets are on sale now!

May 6 – Corgi Derby Day

It’s time to get down and derby! Little Woodrow’s is hosting a corgi race. Register your pup or go out and watch. You might just see a few participants make it big for a debut at a 2024 Big 12 Men’s Basketball game. Registration begins at 11 a.m. the day of the race. 

If live animals, fun games, giveaways, coloring and a photobooth sound like fun, sign your kids up for this free event hosted by Texas Tech’s Association for Natural Resource Scientists! 

May 6 – Music of Queen

Conductor and arranger Brent Havens presents “The Music of Queen,” a listening experience performed by an orchestra and accompanied by a full rock band and vocals. A night at The Buddy Holly Hall is never a bad idea. Get your tickets now!
