Discover the Local Farmers Markets

Ripe fruit, fresh veggies and friendly faces await you at Wolfforth Farmers Market. Held every Saturday throughout the year, rain or shine, locals and visitors alike can experience an authentic connection between farmers and local artisans.

Walking up to the Wolfforth Farmers Market for the first time, I was immediately blown away by the sheer size. Various vendors lined the rows of the market selling everything from home-grown squash and fresh roasted coffee beans, to hand-poured soy candles and vino from nearby vineyards.

After indulging in a sample (well, several) of the wide assortment of baked goods offered throughout the market, I decided to make my first purchase at Tierras Planas Roasters, a local coffee roaster with offerings from Brazil and Ethiopia – whole bean and ground. I decided on an 8-oz. bag of the Ethiopian blend, a medium-bodied coffee with hints of citrus, dark fruit and milk chocolate.

Pro tip: Purchase a 12-oz. cup of their coffee for any donation to The Texas Boys Ranch.

My next stop was E3 Farm to stock up on veggies for the week. With a wide variety of produce, including okra, microgreens, mushrooms, flavored olive oils and more, I decided on a bag of spring greens, oyster mushrooms and a basket of okra – perfect to test out a batch in my new air fryer!

To wind down my farmers market experience, I decided to purchase a bottle of Church House Texas Red (obvs), a decadent pick from Texas Wine Company, a wine production facility in Meadow, Texas. In addition to Texas Red, they also offered a variety of selections, including Texas Moscato and Texas Blush.

Founded in late 2017 in Wolfforth, Texas, the Wolfforth Farmers Market provides a conveniently located, year-round, indoor/outdoor farmers market for the community and visitors to purchase quality-grown foods, baked or produced locally, as well as a variety of unique handmade crafts, jewelry and woodwork.

In addition, this dog-friendly Saturday hotspot is a member of the Texas Department of Agriculture Certified Farmers Market, a Go Texan member, a WIC Voucher distribution site and a Double Up Food Bucks participating market.
