Cupid’s Arrow has hit Lubbock: 5 Places to Celebrate this Valentine’s Day

February is upon us, and love is in the air. Lucky for us, Lubbock has lots to offer that will have us feeling all the love this Valentine’s Day! This guide will serve you well as you and your loved ones plan for a special week. 

From activities and shows, to wining and dining, there will be something for everyone to get in the holiday spirit.

Join Community Options Inc., February 10th, as they invite all runners, joggers, and walkers to join in a fun run. Give back this holiday as this event raises money to help enrich the lives of those with disabilities. Help make a difference and get a workout along the way. Plus, you’ll get a Cupid’s Chase 5k shirt! Be sure to register before February 9th as prices are set to rise. 

Board and Brush: 

Galentine’s Day has been around for a while now due to the beauty of feminine friendships. Board and Brush knows the importance of quality girl time which is why they have dedicated a wood sign workshop to it. This is a BYOB establishment, so be sure to grab your favorite bottle of wine and your girls for a fun night of creativity. Register online to claim your spot this February 13th!

The fun doesn’t end at Galentine’s! Board and Brush has couples night on the 14th. Catch an early dinner and head to Board and Brush at 6:30 p.m. This class has historically been their most popular workshop. Register now to find out what it is all about!

Cactus Theater:

The Cactus Theater loves Valentine’s Day and celebrates with a couple events throughout February. A couples only event, grab your significant other and get ready for a Valentine’s Day tear jerker! This night they will be showing the popular romance film “The Notebook”. 

On February 18th, they will be having a night of classic love songs. Open to anyone, go to their website for further information and to purchase your tickets!

If you are looking for an elegant dinner with your significant other, look no further. The Nicolett is now accepting reservations for 1-4 people the night of the 14th. Chef Finn Walter has curated an unforgettable Valentine’s Day menu. You have two options for seating, the Greenhouse or the main dining room. Reserve your table soon as The Nicolett is always a hit on Valentine’s Day.

Have you ever played the game Clue? Now it’s your turn to experience a murder mystery in real life. Burklee Hill continues their tradition of a murder mystery wine dinner this February 12th. Putting ‘til death do us part to the test during this thrilling dinner, enjoy a five course meal and superb wine while dressed in your best wedding reception attire.
