As a college town, Lubbock, Texas knows how to have a good time. The robust nightlife throughout all of the city is coupled with an evolving culture attractive to college students and weekenders alike. There is nothing like a warm “Hub City” night illuminated by the neon lights found inside the hotspots on the iconic Broadway Street. This Friday night, rally your friends and hit the list below for delicious drinks, tasty food and great music to dance the night away to. Lubbock boasts the ideal venues for an unforgettable Broadway bar crawl! 

The first stop of the night is a local favorite and iconic college hotspot for students. Here, there is a drink for everyone with a variety of margarita flavors, beer, and specialty drinks. Enjoy Chimy’s indoor rooms or outdoor patio which features great music, making it the ideal location to pregame. I never take a trip to Chimy’s without ordering a DP Shootout and their delicious cheese fries! You can thank me later. 

Your next shot can be found at Mesquites Bar & Grill. Located next to Chimy’s, this eclectic bar highlights the emerging culture that can be found down the Broadway red brick roads! With plenty of room to dance and socialize with friends, this welcoming environment is inviting to all. Be sure to watch for all of their weekly drink specials!

Hit the dance floor at Local Bar and Grill and enjoy their live DJ all night long! Located across Broadway from Chimy’s and Mesquites, Local is a uniquely Lubbock experience with great food, live music and even better drinks! 

Cheers to our next stop, Crickets! Challenge your friends to a game of pool or shuffle ball in the side room or enjoy the music while you sit and talk. During the day this is a great place to come get a burger and a beer.. Fun fact: Cricket’s has Karaoke nights once a week that you won’t want to miss! 

This Broadway bar is a local favorite due to the unique atmosphere both inside the building and out on the patio. While enjoying a Capri-fun, specialty cocktails and over 60 different beers, swing on the bar swings, relax in the reclined chairs, socialize over the custom tables and seating, and enjoy the live DJ.
