On the weekend of what would have been Buddy Holly’s 77th birthday, his old band mates, J.I. Allison, Joe B. Mauldin and their old pal Sonny Curtis came together for the ribbon cutting ceremony at J.I.’s childhood home. It was here that Buddy and J.I. wrote the famous song, “That’ll Be the Day” and other memorable hits.
We were there for a special Q&A with the band.
