From attractions fit for the whole family and group friendly restaurants, there is plenty to do and see for the whole family.  Whether you are competing in NCAA Super Regionals or cheering on your favorite athlete, we recommend maximizing your weekend in the 806 by checking out these attractions and local favorites below.

The Range
After the big game, start your weekend off right with a visit to The Range. This pet-friendly, local hotspot is a must-visit for anyone traveling to the “Hub City” who likes competition. Inside their new facility, guests can enjoy a slice of pizza with a cold drink to cool off on a Lubbock summer night. Grab a bucket of balls and head over to the hitting bays to tee up and show off your skills! Golf isn’t your thing? Enjoy the outdoor games like corn hole and pit washers.

Pro tip: Trying to stay out of the heat? Make sure to snag a covered hitting bay to stay in the shade!

Dirk’s
We know you’ve worked up an appetite! From one local legend to the next, Chef Cameron West, grandson of Dirk West, the artist who brought us the beloved Raider Red, is featured at Lubbock’s newest fried chicken eatery, Dirk’s. Located downtown, this family-owned restaurant displays the work of Dirk West on the walls. From comics and portraits to perfectly breaded chicken and well-prepared oysters, the multi-generational talent comes to life inside this fried chicken restaurant.

The Brewery LBK
Established in the heart of downtown Lubbock, The Brewery LBK is not only a local favorite, but it’s the best brewpub in the nation according to USA Today. Stop by to enjoy unique beers, cocktails, and hard lemonades. Hungry? Order up an appetizer of crispy chicken wings!

Wine and Clay Festival at Llano Estacado
The Wine and Clay Festival is an annual event that is a can’t-miss on our calendar! Enjoy live music, food trucks, delectable Llano Estacado wine and, of course, a variety of clay creations from local and regional artisans! Admission is free.

Lubbock plays a big game both on and off the field. From state-of-the-art facilities to premier venues to exciting, new attractions, experience all that the “Hub City” has to offer this weekend at the NCAA Super Regionals.
