Not only is this Lubbock staple adorned with cute prairie dogs to watch, it also has educational purposes! Established in the early 1930’s, this is the first protected prairie dog colony of its kind. Take the kids to this loved park to teach them how prairie dogs have been part of the Texas ecosystem for millions of years.
