As the temperature begins to cool off, Lubbock’s favorite way to get in the harvest season spirit is to grab their jacket and take to the stands to cheer on their favorite team. Sports fans can enjoy this season as it is full of diverse events on the field, in the arena and on the court here in the “Hub City.” From cross country to rodeos, we made it easy for you with the top five Fall sporting events you won’t want to miss this fall!

Head to Mae Simmons Park for the UIL Cross Country Regional meet. With good scenery and great competition, this event is full of enjoyment.

Mark your calendars as men and women take to the Chaparral Ridge Cross Country course. Hosted by Texas Tech University, follow along on the sides as the Big 12 runners give their best shot at this championship meet.

There is nothing better than sunflower seeds and softball tournaments in the fall. The Monster Mash Softball Tournament will host teams from ages eight to eighteen. It will be a grand slam of a weekend!

This ain’t our first rodeo! The Texas Tech Intercollegiate Rodeo will be taking place at Cook’s Garage October 27-29 for a weekend full of your favorite events. You won’t want to miss this!

PRCA Cook’s Rodeo Days | November 3-6

Cook’s Garage is hosting a PRCA Rodeo in November with nightly concert performances from Neal McCoy and Jo Dee Messina. The rodeo begins at 6:30 p.m. each night and the concert follows after the events have concluded.

It is almost time for the Lady Raiders to play in one of the premier non-conference preseason tournaments here in Lubbock. They will face teams starting on Tuesday, November 15 as they get ready to fire up their season. Wreck Em!
