From local wineries to hotels and museums, Lubbock is home to a variety of venues that offer a unique setting for the ultimate experience in the “Hub City.” If you’re planning a corporate gathering, offsite meeting during a conference or a networking event, look no further than our suggestions below for mid-sized groups ranging from 50 to 300 guests.

Event at McPherson Cellars

McPherson Cellars 1615 Texas Ave. What was once a Coca-Cola bottling plant in Lubbock’s Depot Entertainment District is now McPherson Cellars, a winery boasting more than 650 awards and a popular venue for weddings, corporate gatherings, meetings and social events. McPherson Cellars’ event center features a charming industrial aesthetic and space for up to 250 people, allowing them to accommodate a variety of events. Llano Estacado Winery 3426 E. F.M. 1585 Another premier winery near Lubbock and the second oldest in the Lone Star State, Llano Estacado Winery has several on-site venues available for reservation. The Banquet Room features beautiful wood floors, lighting and can accommodate up to 200 guests seated or 300 in cocktail style. Meanwhile, the tasting room can seat 50 or fit 100 with cocktail tables and includes a gorgeous wraparound patio overlooking the estate vineyard. Take it over the top and set up your dining in the vineyard, where you can seat up to 300. Rental of the facility includes tables, chairs, oak aging barrel accent pieces and a breathtaking view. American Windmill Museum 1701 Canyon Lake Drive Share with your attendees how the West was won at the American Windmill Museum. Here visitors can see windmills from the old Dutch-style windmill to the modern wind turbine. The venue can accommodate up to 300 guests in one space complete with a 6,000-square-foot handpainted mural. The stunning piece of art depicts the many forms and transition of wind power in America. Arbor Hotel & Conference Center 6401 62nd St. The Arbor Hotel & Conference Center is a popular meeting venue for associations, corporations and organizations to host their seminars, banquets and retreats. The Arbor’s Legacy Conference Center seats up to 160 with a dance floor or 192 without. You’ll also have the option to access three smaller meeting rooms, pre-function space, high-speed Wi-Fi and AV equipment. Plus, your attendees can stay in the Arbor Hotel & Conference Center’s comfortable guest rooms, take advantage of the pool or workout in the fitness center. Bayer Museum of Agriculture 1121 Canyon Lake Dr. The mission of the Bayer Museum of Agriculture is to preserve the history of, tell the story of and instill pride in American agriculture and values. When you host an event here, you engage your attendees in the agricultural heritage and culture Lubbock is known for. Rental of the Plains Cotton Growers Conference Center, which holds up to 300 in rounds of eight, includes use of the catering kitchen, patio, tables, chairs, podium and AV necessities. The Willows 6303 82nd St. The Willows Event Center is an elegant venue that is perfect for your next event. From weddings to meetings, this center provides a beautiful setting in any of their available spaces. The Willows Event Center offers a large banquet hall, corporate meeting rooms, an amphitheater and intimate gardens, which holds up to 14 in the meeting areas and over 300 in the larger halls. The use of this facility includes tables, linens, chairs and clean up.

Event at LHUCA

LHUCA 511 Ave. K LHUCA is one of the first places visitors like to scope out the thriving art scene in Lubbock. Needless to say, this vibrant, colorful venue is also one of the top event spaces in town. The Christine DeVitt Exhibition Hall offers great lighting, contemporary art and space for 300 seated or 350 standing. For smaller groups of between 80 and 100, opt for the Helen DeVitt Jones Studio Gallery. The Firehouse Theatre is perfect for performances, lectures and film screenings and seats 159. Another option is the Christine DeVitt Icehouse, the better choice for larger events as it includes a dance floor with space for 240 seated or 280 standing. Museum of Texas Tech University 3301 4th St. Elevate your event among the art, cultural, and historical exhibits at the Museum of Texas Tech University. The museum offers several space options with a variety of capacities, including the Helen Devitt Jones Auditorium (seats up to 287), the Green Room (seats up to 53 and includes an LCD projection system) and the Kline Room (seats up to 88). Use of the museum’s kitchen, piano and small stage are included in your rental. Silent Wings Museum 6202 N. I-27 Step back in time and host your event among the glider planes and exhibits of the Silent Wing Museum. This museum presents the history of the World War II military glider program and fully immerses guests in the patriotic swing-music era of the early 1940s. The Hangar Gallery (accommodates 120 in rounds or 378 reception-style) and Patriot Plaza (open space with engraved bricks in front of the museum with no real limit to the size of a group) are both available to rent.

The Pavilion at Spirit Ranch

Spirit Ranch 701 Regis St. Giant green trees, roaming peacocks and a babbling brook make Spirit Ranch a highly sought after venue. The oversized windows in The Pavilion frame the view perfectly for up to 400 (200 inside, 200 outside). If you’re looking for something a bit more intimate, the Canyon House offers a private kitchen and bar, fireplace and screened-in porch that can accommodate 50 inside and 100 outside. Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences 1300 Mac Davis Ln. Lubbock’s newest attraction, the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences, is scheduled to open in August 2020! Meeting planners can begin to take advantage of the 6,000 sub-dividable square foot event space that is functional for banquets, lectures and meetings to name a few. With access to full event catering, there is no reason not to schedule this state-of-the-art venue today. Pay tribute to the music legend and experience the legacy of Lubbock encapsulate every meeting. Cotton Court Hotel  1601 Broadway St. Also opening in 2020, Lubbock’s premier boutique hotel, the Cotton Court Hotel features a modern take on a 19th-century cotton gin. This hotel taps into the rich history of Lubbock’s cotton industry and its agricultural roots. This hotel is the ideal location for meeting planners looking to experience the culture of West Texas.
