Welcome to Broadway Street, one of West Texas’ busiest spots and for good reason. A street full of nightlife, good eats, drinks and tailored shopping, the exploring never ends. Broadway is home to Lubbock’s most popular bars and nighttime adventures. Planning a trip to Lubbock? Add these locations to your itinerary for a true Lubbock, Texas experience.

Stays

Broadway Street is packed with historical and up-to-date hotel and Airbnb options. Book your stay with the Pioneer Pocket Hotel for a luxury boutique hotel experience. The Pioneer Hotel features 10 themed rooms celebrating the city’s expansive culture. This hotel sits on top of The Brewery LBK and The West Table restaurant. Across the street is another great stay, the Millsap Suites. Millsap Suites has a plethora of rooms for selection and is the sister property of The Pioneer Hotel.

Explore The Cotton Court Hotel, Lubbock’s newest boutique stay designed to represent the city’s cultural history. The property’s courtyard has lawn games, hammocks, fire pits and a modern pool. Another guest favorite is three unique Airbnbs nestled in the Courthouse Lofts of Lubbock. A restored historic landmark, the Courthouse Lofts offer the Downtown Waylon, Downtown Buddy and ON Downtown units. These creative and comfortable spaces provide an immersive experience into West Texas history.

Food

Now that you’ve unpacked, it’s time for food. Lubbock is home to a variety of cuisines and home-grown food experiences. Visit Midnight Shift, The Cotton Court’s very own restaurant. This restaurant serves Texas-American food and its craft cocktail menu is a work of art. Order Lubbock’s signature cocktail, The Chilton, and experience live music on weekends. Lubbock’s newest burger joint, Wrecked Burgers & Brews, is located across from Texas Tech University Campus. Wrecked Burgers offers a large menu of creative burger and beer pairings. Locally owned and operated, The West Table Kitchen and Bar’s rotating menu has high-quality, global and in-season ingredients. Owners Cameron and Rachel West source ingredients locally and internationally to provide a unique yet familiar dining experience. Love The West Table’s food? Visit their other businesses: Dirks Chicken and Neighborhood F+B

Drink

Whether you’re looking for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail, Lubbock’s beverage scene has you covered. Check out Monomyth Coffee for a life-changing americano. A retro-outfitted coffee shop, Monomyth is a local and visitor favorite. This business works alongside the Brulee Bakery offering locally-made pastries.

Australian-owned and operated, Nashwell Cafe is a Broadway staple. Nashwell’s menu has authentic Australian brews and the cafe’s walls are covered with local artists’ work (available for purchase). End your day at The Brewery LBK, the nation’s No.1 Brewpub according to USA Today. Pouring craft brews and mixing original cocktails, explore this brewpub for drink options galore.

Keep the party going at the original Chimy’s location. This popular spot is a local favorite with drink specials all week and indoor and outdoor seating galore. Stop by during store hours for quality Tex-Mex and every margarita flavor under the sun. Walk down the street to BierHaus, one of Lubbock’s staple bars. There are drink specials during the week and live band performances at this multi-story bar. Bring your furry friends to enjoy the outdoor patio with a cool brew. Look across the street from BierHaus to Miguel’s, a Mexican cocina and bar. Miguel’s is a large space with pool tables, indoor and outdoor seating and artwork lining each wall. Using fresh and local ingredients in its authentic Mexican food, add Miguel’s to your Broadway Street tour.

Clothing ranges from everyday wear to upscale fittings at H.G. Thrash.

Part of Lubbock since 1975, Red Raider Outfitter is the location to pick up all your TTU merchandise.
