Lubbock’s south side of town is ever-growing and can’t be missed. It is full of new and vibrant restaurants, family-friendly activities, shopping and so much more! Head south with us as we look at all 114th Street offers.

Food & Drink

The food & drink opportunities on 114th Street range from a quick eat to casual diners to upscale steakhouses, catering to all tastes and preferences. If you want a yummy steak, Las Brisas raspberry filet is the perfect option. With an open patio and live music often, it’s a can’t-miss steak house on the south side of town. If you’re looking for a great ramen bowl, Yanagi Ramen has you covered or if you’re itching for a great mediterranean bowl, Moto Medi is the place for you.

Two brand new restaurants graced 114th as well joining The Shops at 114. Johnny Fabs is a casual family-friendly dining experience with a unique raw oyster bar! The Plaza is another casual eatery that offers delicious Mexican food, a fun atmosphere, and great drinks.

Entertainment

Looking for a fun concert? Cook’s Garage right off 114th is the place for you! A former car garage, now a restaurant and concert venue, hosts events as often as twice a month. Most recently, Cook’s hosted William Clark Green’s Cotton Fest with a sellout crowd of 10,000 people!

Another great family-friendly activity is The Range. With over 60 golf bays, wood-fired pizza, and other outdoor games, this is sure to make everyone happy!

Shopping

A new premier shopping center that boasts over 70,000 square feet of luxury space is The Shops at 114. Offering a Lubbock locally owned boutique, Brookside, you are sure to find a cute new outfit before walking over to find a new dinner hot spot.

Stays

Located right on 114th Street is a quaint and rustic AirBnB. It is located in a quiet area with breathtaking views of the West Texas Skies. At the Caprock Casita, you’ll find a newly renovated two bedroom, one bathroom stay with easy access to all the best dining options in South Lubbock.

South Lubbock

There are so many reasons to check out the South side of town including Harrigan’s, a great prime grill in Cooper Plaza, Antiqueology, an antique store that blends old and new, and Happy’s, a fun shaved ice and bubble blend store.
