Here’s a look at what I found to be hot on the shelves as we enter this chilly season.
Scarves and Hats
When you walk in the door hues of burgundy, navy and creams greet you as you come in. Textures of velvet, chunky knit and chenille hang from the walls above you. These hats, scarves and head wraps are a must this season for gals who want to stay warm and look put together. I recommend going with a neutral CC beanie with a pom-pom on top. You can pair this with virtually anything and it lends a soft, edgy touch to any fall outfit.
Crop Sweaters
To say that crop sweaters are “in” is a HUGE understatement. THEY ARE IN! T.C. Ellis has a crop sweater in every color, every material and every style! I was particularly drawn to a chunky knit, terra-cotta pink crop that hit perfectly at the belt of my high waisted jeans. It’s a comfy look without the grunge and it works!
Prints
From cheetah and snakeskin to camouflage and plaid, prints are in-demand this fall. T.C. Ellis cares about the details and it shows when it comes to their pieces with prints. Shoes, skirts, scrunchies–you name it–they’ve got it in all kinds of prints! Adding a bold print to a basic outfit adds a new dimension to your overall look and will make you feel super chic. Next time you’re tempted to buy the black shoes, grab the cheetah ones and thank me later.
If you’d like to share your fall TCE outfit with us, we would love to see it! Post your finds and tag us with #livelovelubbock and we’ll give you a feature! As always, happy shopping!
