When traveling to the Hub City, you’ll find that there are numerous exciting adventures awaiting you and your children. Navigating the city with little ones can sometimes be challenging, but fear not! There is a wide variety of activities and attractions for the whole family. Whether you need a sweet treat, a calm afternoon or to get all the energy out, there are many fabulous places to explore.

Adventure Park

Adventure Park is Lubbock’s go-to place for adventure and fun. With 20 acres of fantastic attractions, there is so much to explore. There are many exciting ways to spend an afternoon, from the game room to Mini Golf, Go-Karts, a Zipline, and more. Mom Lounge

The Mom Lounge is the perfect place for moms to find community and watch their little ones play. Designed for children ages 0 to 5, this is the go-to safe spot for moms to relax when wanting a day outside of the house. From classes for moms to event hosting and baby showers to birthday parties, there are so many things to do at the lounge. Check the website for hours and more information about upcoming classes.

Bahama Bucks

With locations across the city, Bahama Buck's is the go-to spot for refreshing shaved ice and island-inspired treats. This local favorite serves up everything from classic sno creations to creamy smoothie bowls. Don't forget to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate treat! Now serving flavored sodas!

Clay Cafe

Clay Cafe is Lubbock’s first paint-your-own pottery studio. If you want a creative afternoon indoors, pick a piece and get artsy. They offer summer kids camps for $35, so check their Facebook for more information about upcoming classes, and sign up over the phone or in person. The classes are offered to kids 5 to 10 years old and include many different pieces of pottery to choose from.

Altitude Trampoline Park

Fun for the whole family, Altitude offers high-energy excitement with foam pits, gymnastics tumble tracks, dodgeball, basketball dunking and more. Open Wednesday through Sunday, this is a safe and clean environment for a lively activity.

Water Rampage

Open during the summer, Lubbock’s only water park hosts an array of adventures. Water slides, lazy rivers and wave pools, these wet and wild attractions are sure to bring joy to the whole family. A day pass costs around $32, or go for the afternoon for $20. Kids are sure to enjoy this thrilling outdoor water adventure. Water Rampage also hosts movie nights during the summer in the wave pool. Milestones Development and Play Park

Milestones Park invites visitors of all ages to discover endless fun through six imaginative play areas, from a wild Jungle Safari to the whimsical Lollypop Land. Whether celebrating a birthday or enjoying an indoor activity on a rainy day, every visit promises adventure around every corner!

Science Spectrum

The Science Spectrum is an excellent kid-friendly destination for the summer. With its interactive exhibits and engaging hands-on activities, children can immerse themselves in the wonders of science while having a blast. Whether exploring the dinosaur exhibits, experimenting in the Discovery Lab or catching a show at the Omni Theater, the Science Spectrum offers kids a stimulating and educational experience. The Science Spectrum offers summer camps for kids ages 4 through 12 for educational and fun activities that run from June to August. Check their website to register before the camps fill up.

SUPLBK

Head over to SUPLBK for an outdoor water experience. For one hour of fun on the Dunbar Historic Lake, it costs $20. Choose from paddleboarding, kayaking and water adventures that everyone will enjoy. Paddleboarding is a peaceful and tranquil activity for all ages to get outside and be active. SUPLBK is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday, so check their calendar for upcoming night paddles and other classes including yoga and fitness.
