Follow your tastebuds north and visit the neighborhood that knows how to prepare spicy Mexican, tangy barbecue and classic American dishes best. While there, take a loop around Lubbock’s most endearing attractions. Adventure awaits you north of Loop 289.

He-Brews Coffee
Whether you prefer an afternoon pick-me-up on the patio or a cozy nightcap in the cafe, HeBrews Coffee is the one-stop-shop for live music, brews and great views of Buddy Holly Lake! For the adventurous type, rent a paddle-board or canoe in addition to your Americano and make your way to the Historic Dunbar Lake for an evening paddle.

Lubbock Lake Landmark
Travel back to the prehistoric at the Lubbock Lake Landmark. With archeological digs, exhibitions featuring Ice Age Animals and a trail hosting night hikes, this hidden gem is awaiting your next visit to the LBK!

Prairie Dog Town
Arguably Lubbock’s most charming attraction, Prairie Dog Town is home to the “Hub City’s” cutest residents. Before you visit, don’t forget your lawn chair and a bag of carrots – I guarantee you will be watching these pups longer than you’d like to admit.

Spirit Ranch
Nestled in a hidden oasis just west of I-27, Spirit Ranch is the ideal destination for a beautiful rustic wedding and other events. While there, visit the E&J Smokehouse for a plate of mouthwatering brisket barbecue. Watch out for peacocks!

Montelongo’s
As you enter through the doors of Montelongo’s, the smell of a perfect blend of seasoning and spices envelopes you in an authentic Mexican cuisine dream. After taking one bite into the smothered burrito, your tastebuds won’t believe you aren’t south of the border.
