Chef Angie Ragan is bringing her signature flair and passion for fine dining to Downtown Lubbock in a big way. Salt by Angie, known for its elevated private dining experiences and catering, is now opening for weekday lunch and happy hour at the historic Kress Building. With the grand opening set for April 9, guests can indulge in an upscale dining experience every Tuesday through Thursday, with lunch service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a high-end happy hour from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A semi-finalist on Next Level Chef Season 1, Chef Angie has built her career around bold flavors, impeccable service and a touch of extravagance. Inspired by her grandmother’s restaurant, she blends classic techniques with modern twists to create dishes that feel both nostalgic and innovative. Her menu is a refined take on classics we all love.
Each dish reflects her signature style, featuring starters, garden-fresh selections and expertly crafted entrées. Diners can savor craveable chips and salsa (salsa that's won best in Lubbock several times, might I add), harissa salmon with Moroccan curried quinoa, linguini primavera and the Broadway Burger—a tribute to the road the restaurant calls home, topped with lemon aioli, smoked agg cheddar and onion marmalade.
