The camping facilities at Lake Alan Henry are well-maintained, featuring picnic areas, restrooms and designated camping spots for tents and RVs. The camping facilities are located in the Sam Wahl Recreation Area, and campsites are first come first serve. The Sam Wahl Recreation area is home to a fishery among the top five in Texas.
