What is the history of Four Bar K?
In the early ‘90s, Chuck Kershner transformed a 6,500-square-foot building packed with history, into a venue that, since its inception, has been the perfect location for everything from receptions to reunions. In 2002, the original building was lost to a fire, but rose from the ashes one year later to become what it is today – a 13,000-square-foot event space with a basement-level dance floor. Packed with artifacts and unique rustic features, this venue is full of West Texas charm.
What types of events or meetings can Four Bar K host?
There really is no limit to the types of events Four Bar K can host. Anniversary and birthday parties, graduation celebrations, weddings, family reunions, award ceremonies – if you can plan it, Four Bar K can accommodate. Planners can choose between a barbecue or ribeye buffet.
How many people can it accommodate?
Four Bar K can currently hold up to 450 guests.
What makes Four Bar K unique?
To see the venue in a more casual setting, make plans to be there on Friday for lunch. Friday Lunch has been a long-standing tradition at Four Bar K, and even with the fire in 2002, they only missed serving one Friday. It’s something they are proud to continue today. Cost is $10 a person, and that will get you two trips through a buffet line to load up on barbecue and all the fixings, while you enjoy a variety of live music and complimentary beer.
Should you be looking for a way to add a little Texas flair to your event, the likes of which you can only find in Lubbock, consider booking it at Four Bar K.
