Roses are red, violets are blue.
I fell in love with these restaurants.
And so will you.
Valentine’s Day is approaching, which means you’ll see an abundance of pink and red around every turn and people scrambling to find that perfect gift to express their love. While love comes in many different forms, my favorite is food.
Personally, I’m a sucker for great Italian food. If sharing a big plate of spaghetti and meatballs like Lady and the Tramp style isn’t your thing, I’ve included a few other options that you’ll absolutely love.
The meals get better with every bite. Each one of their delectable dishes is made from scratch with family recipes that have through multiple generations. The Chicken Marsala and the Tortellini Ala Pana are out-of-this-world good!
Orlando’s has been the go-to Italian food restaurant in Lubbock for many, many years. Take a bite of their famous Green Chile Chicken Linguini and you’ll understand why their ability to infuse Italian classics with Southwestern flavors is just pure culinary genius! If you’re feeling extra lovey-dovey, make a reservation in their cozy lovers’ booth. Bon appétit!
Eclectic. Fun. Creative. We can go on and on about all the things we love about the Crafthouse. They aren’t afraid to take chances with their menu, which is perfect if you’re looking for something to treat your palate. Take a look at their upcoming Valentine’s Day menu.
I’ll be the first one to admit it: I’ve been forced to salivate over pictures and stories from my friends about how good this restaurant is. The West Table is the new kid on the block and they are already making waves across the state of Texas. Check out this review from Texas Monthly.
Cooking dinner at home but still looking for a special place to take your loved one? Try one of Lubbock’s wineries (we have five!) for a tasting and tour. Sweet wine for your sweetie!
Now comes the hard part. What menu will you dig into on Valentine’s Day?
