I’m fibbing about the flesh-eating zombies, but you will have fun dodging the undead at this year’s West Texas Zombie Run at Buffalo Springs Lake on Saturday, Sept. 14. This race is not for the faint of heart because from start to finish, you’ll need to put your zombie apocalypse skills to the test as you race through 3.2 miles of fun and challenging obstacles.
As a reward, all of the brave souls that make it through the course unharmed by zombies will be treated at the Safe Zone Party with food, drinks and LIVE music. As for everyone else, they will have to fend for themselves with the rest of the undead. Just kidding. Everyone will be invited to unwind, laugh and enjoy your time at the end of the race.
And if you want to participate as a family, there will be a special 1.7 mile course that’s dedicated to families with kids 10 and up.
