There is sentimental meaning behind the name HollyHocks.
Vina Viola Morgan was born in a small town in Texas with a love of all flowers. But the blooms most vividly remembered by her grandson were the hollyhocks she grew behind her fence. “She shared her smile and bright flowers with all of us for 100 years,” reads the story displayed in the shop. “We honor her with the name ‘HollyHocks.'”
Two words: Vera Bradley
If you need anything (and we mean anything) Vera Bradley, you can find it here. Backpacks for back-to-school, makeup bags and weekenders for your summer getaway or a tote bag for your everyday essentials, HollyHocks most likely has what you’re looking for. I give you Exhibit A.
HollyHocks is a great place to register.
With a gorgeous collection of bedding, decorative accessories, flatware and dinnerware, it’s a no-brainer for anyone getting ready to walk down the aisle!
There’s something at HollyHocks for men, too.
Whether it’s a husband, boyfriend or one of your male relatives, we all have a man in our life who is impossible to shop for. HollyHocks carries a wide selection of Jack Black products (think skincare, not actor), the utilitarian White Wing canvas bags and the classic, monogram-worthy Jon Hart bags. Problem solved!
It’s impossible to walk out of the store without at least one purchase.
HollyHocks has a masterful inventory of gift giving options. I’d just stepped into the store when I spotted the perfect Spartina necklace for my best friend tying the knot, a plush book called “Pony Tails” for another friend’s toddler and a perfect “just because” gift for my mom. I’ve also got my eye on a Swell bottle (guaranteed to keep your beverages cold for 24 hours and hot beverages hot for 12), my stand-by Capri Blue candle in a new scent and a cute “Mighty Purse” that charges your phone while you’re out and about.
Even if you’re shopping for someone else, you’re sure to add a few extra items to your list that are just for you. Happy shopping!
