After a long day of competing on the field or cheering in the stands, there’s nothing better than a delicious meal. But if you are traveling with a large group, it can get difficult arranging enough space to keep everyone together. In the “Hub City,” there is an array of restaurants that can accommodate large groups. Below is just a preview of Lubbock’s nearly 1,000 dining options. Enjoy this sampling of local flavor with great food and even better people.

CapRock Cafe

  1. CapRock Cafe

As you may have heard, CapRock Cafe is “where Texas plays.” This locally-owned restaurant started after a visit to a Hard Rock Cafe in Florida which inspired four Texas Tech graduates to bring that experience back to the “Hub City.” Plenty of TVs, a heated patio, half-pound burgers and that famous Pecos Queso will have you coming back for more. The list of Lubbock sports bars continues to grow, so this is by no means an exhaustive list. We’d love to hear where you take your group when visiting the “Hub City.” Share your photos with us on social media using #livelovelubbock for a chance to be featured on our home page!
