Got a sweet tooth? Lubbock’s newest bakery and cheese shop is one that you will want to revisit time and time again. The bakery will be an extension of the King Street Pub located on 82nd Street & Indiana. From pecan rolls to coconut cake, Queen of Tarts seems to have it all. Oh, and don’t forget about the cheese! This bakery is fashioned so that Sally Good’s love of cheese can be shared by both locals and visitors. The sweets and cheese provide a variety of tastes all in one place! This unique twist on a traditional “sweets only” bakery can provide any palate with a flavor they desire.

In August 2017, Jessica Murray opened up her “heart and soul” to the Lubbock public inside KK’s Corner Mall. Serving lunch crowds, this tea room can accommodate anyone searching for a bite to eat from 11 a.m – 2:30 p.m. These full plates are piled high with an array of house-made tastes ranging from the chicken salad and pimento or the vegan tomato basil bisque accompanied by a fresh loaf of bread. After your meal, stay a while and indulge in a fresh pie or cake from local bakers or shop wares from local vendors.

Richard Rawlings Garage Icehouse & Grill has settled under the iconic Rooftop bar and neighboring the 25twenty apartment complex, providing patrons with food, fuel, and friends. Here you’ll find twists on American classics such as juicy burgers, sandwiches, and brisket all topped off with an ice cold beer. In addition to the tastes of America, the Grill has merchandise available to purchase featuring the famous saying “parked in the heart of Texas.” This light and fun atmosphere has stemmed from Rawlings’ love for gears and grub. Be on the lookout for even more entertainment with the rumors of live music in the upcoming weeks!
