You can celebrate two great arts of the earth at once.
Different but equal in their beauty and craftsmanship, both winemaking and pottery are celebrated at this event. More than 40 regional potters are generally on-site presenting their house wares and other clay products.
There will be live music.
Did you know that in Lubbock you can catch live music almost every single day of the week? It’s true! And at Wine & Clay you can catch some great performances from some of our favorite local artists.
It’s a two-day event.
Wine & Clay kicks off at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. If you already have plans, it’s also continuing into Sunday, June 12 from noon – 5 p.m, and I can’t imagine a more relaxing way to wrap up a weekend.
While wine will be available for purchase and work of each vendor will be on sale, admission is free and the ability to listen to great live music and see some work from the Llano Estacado Clay Guild will cost you absolutely nothing.
Discover a favorite local wine.
It’s hard for me to remember a time when I purchased a bottle of wine that wasn’t locally made. And it was at another Llano wine event that I discovered one of my very favorite reds – their Due Compaesani (which will be available to try this weekend). With a number of wines out for sampling, you’re sure to find a new favorite whether it’s dry or sweet, red or white.
If you need us this weekend, we’ll be at Llano Estacado Winery soaking up the sunshine, listening to music and toasting Saturday with a glass of wine! If you’ll be out at Wine & Clay with us, be sure to share your photos with #LiveLoveLubbock. Happy wine-ing!
When: Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. & Sunday, June 12 from noon – 5 p.m.
