On the 79th anniversary of the Normandy Invasion, the Silent Wings Museum is proud to present educational programs throughout the weekend, highlighting the personal experience of American Glider Pilots as they played a crucial role in breeching Hitler’s Atlantic Wall and beginning the liberation of Europe.

Vintage aircraft and vehicles, living history participants, and exhibits throughout the museum illustrate the awesome accomplishment of the D-Day Invasion.

Schedule of Events:
10:00 am & Museum opens

Vintage aircraft and vehicle displays all day, weather permitting, contingent on factors related to the aircraft
Persons interested in booking rides on the C-47 need to make arrangements with the representative of the aircraft, they will have a table near the aircraft or in the Hangar
Food Trucks all day in front of the Silent Wings Museum
Living History displays all day in Hangar Gallery
Outdoor games all day in front of Silent Wings Museum
Craft activities all day in Hangar Gallery
