Calling all cowboys, cowgirls and country music lovers! William Clark Green’s Cotton Fest is an annual weekend-long music festival and a West Texas favorite. Cotton Fest attracts visitors from across the region to experience the family-friendly atmosphere and join in on the festivities including camping, corn-hole, cookouts and music.

Check-in for your weekend in Lubbock at the Cotton Court Hotel. Lubbock’s newest luxury boutique hotel, the Cotton Court is designed to celebrate the city’s rich cultural and agricultural history. The property courtyard offers lawn games, hammocks and fire pits, making it the perfect weekend home base. Don’t forget to visit the Midnight Shift Restaurant and Bar to try Lubbock’s signature cocktail, the Chilton. There is a surprise around every corner at the Cotton Court Hotel. 

Don’t miss out on the VIP Party Thursday night with live music, a casino and bingo. Enjoy performances with William Clark Green and Pat Green song-swapping all night at Cooks Garage. Proceeds from this event go to the High Cotton Relief Fund.

Kick-off weekend festivities with Friday morning brunch at Cafe J. At Cafe J, blending modern techniques with worldwide influences, an extensive wine selection, and original paintings is their MO. We highly recommend stopping by for an elevated brunch at this local favorite. 

The Friday lineup at Cotton Fest promises an exciting mix of talent and genres, setting the stage for a memorable start to the weekend. Headlining the night is The Panhandlers, Mike Ryan and 49 Winchester. Cotton Fest is a B.Y.O.B. and food event, with food and drink vendors also available on-site. Grab your cooler, cowboy boots and sun shades and make your way to the festival of the summer!

Rise and shine! Saturday morning at the Downtown Lubbock’s Farmers Market is the ideal way to kick off the day. Support local farmers and artisans while enjoying the best produce, homemade goodies and handcrafted treasures. The farmers market is located in the Arts District at 511 Avenue K, Lubbock, TX 79401 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Keep the good vibes going as you head to Cotton Fest day two. Saturday’s headliners are William Clark Green and Treaty Oak Revival. 

Participate in the Cotton Fest BBQ Cookout and show off those culinary skills. The cookout consists of brisket, pork ribs and pork loin as the barbequing components. All meats will be cooked on-site and winners for the top three places per meat category, plus an overall grand champion, will receive a generous cash award.
