Experience an enchanting holiday tradition in Lubbock at the National Ranching Heritage Center’s Candlelight at the Ranch. Every December, the center transforms into a winter wonderland, offering visitors a nostalgic glimpse into Christmas on the prairie. This beloved event, set for December 13-14th from 6:30-9 p.m. this year, invites you to stroll along lantern-lit paths as the historic structures come alive with festive decorations, authentic furnishings and live music.

Each step of the path is filled with holiday cheer, from carolers serenading guests to fun Christmas activities. Kids and families alike can cozy up to a warm campfire, listen to traditional stories and enjoy delicious hot cocoa. This immersive celebration is a perfect way to make memories and experience the spirit of a simpler holiday season.

Admission is free, with a suggested donation that supports the center’s efforts to preserve and share the rich ranching heritage of the region.
