The United Supermarkets Arena is the premier entertainment event venue stop in West Texas. The Arena is host to an extensive array of concerts and athletic events, including year-round Texas Tech University basketball and volleyball matches, commencement ceremonies, live shows and exhibitions. Artists such as Enrique Iglesias, George Strait, The Eagles, Lady Antebellum, Eli Young Band, Pitbull, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift and many others have made their musical mark on the United Supermarkets Arena. A total of 1,287,000 bricks were utilized in the construction of this building. Another fun fact about the arena is that there are 44 double T’s on the floor of the concourse level. Students of Texas Tech University and United Supermarkets were major donors for the establishment of this beloved “Hub City” venue.
