Today’s “Hub City Trivia” question was: What is Lubbock’s oldest restaurant?
Answer: Gardski’s Loft
Gardski’s Loft is one of the oldest restaurant structures in the “Hub City.” Despite its age, this 1920s cottage, located on the brick avenue leading to downtown, stands strongly today amid the many restaurants located in Lubbock. After recently undergoing renovations in March, Gardski’s Loft will reopen under new ownership. Excitingly enough, the building is not the only thing to undergo new changes. Gardski’s Loft will be offering healthier food options to choose from, featuring their own grass-fed Texas beef. Many Lubbockites and tourists have already fallen under the spells of the mouth-watering, country-kitchen menu over the years, and will continue to do so in the future.
