Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or a casual latte drinker, Lubbock boasts a variety of coffee shops that are sure to curb your craving. From espresso to cold brew or your favorite tea, pair your beverage of choice with a delicious house-made pastry at one of Lubbock’s must-try coffee shops!

He-Brews Coffee | 2709 Marshall St.

This faith-based coffee shop near the Buddy Holly Recreation area features an outdoor patio and inside seating, making it pup-friendly for your furry best friend. With a diverse menu that offers something for every coffee drinker,we recommend the Cubano, Caramel Delight, and the He-Brews Signature! Be sure to check ahead for the alternating seasonal menu. Monomyth Coffee Co. | 2024 Broadway

Located within walking distance of Texas Tech University’s campus, Monomyth is the perfect workspace and small gathering location. There, guests will be delighted to see the shop has recently partnered with Brulee Bake, a family-owned bakery, to offer delicious, locally made pastries. Every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monomyth features a weekend exclusive showcasing 3 different types of toast; the Bread & Buttah, a traditional favorite with whipped butter, sea salt; The Jammin Ricotta, where sweet meets savory with a blend of ricotta cheese, apricot preserve and olive oil; and The Avocado Smash, a trendsetter with avocado, arugula, and a chili vinaigrette drizzle. You won’t want to miss this! 

J&B Coffee |  2701 26th St.

The heart of Tech Terrace and the perfect place to catch up with friends or knock out some work, J&B features original menu items such as the Hodgepodge, a latte with mocha and caramel sauce; and the Caramel Cowboy, a latte with caramel and vanilla. If iced beverages are more your style, J&B’s iced lattes are perfect to sip on a warm Lubbock day.

From delicious pastries and quality lattes, Sugar Brown’s consistently high-quality drinks and delectable eats have made this coffee shop a local favorite. With three locations, each shop has a different vibe!

Paint Rock Coffee Co. | 2002 Broadway St. 

Lubbock’s newest coffee shop has a unique garden atmosphere complete with swinging chairs and faux grass! A hotspot for college students to study or hang out, Paint Rock is conveniently located just under one mile from Texas Tech’s campus. Whether you are looking for a coffee to kick start your day or an afternoon pick-me-up, the cafe also offers breakfast and lunch options to fuel your study session. 

Ninety-Two Bakery & Cafe | 6303 82nd St. 

Meet us in France – on 82nd street that is! This French-inspired cafe boasts in-house pastries and artisan coffee that will make you say oui oui! Whether you’re coming for a lunch meeting or a morning chat, Ninety-Two cafe is the perfect place to escape to your third place; the location after your home and workplace. As you enter the cafe, a fresh bread aroma welcomes you into the French country farmhouse-inspired space. Be sure to check out the umbrella room, which is also available to reserve for private parties and events.

Nashwell Cafe | 1212 Avenue K
