Tips/Fundraising
As you tune into online performances, scan the social post or email that links to the streaming video to check if the musician provided a username to their Venmo, Paypal or other resources for tipping.
Purchase Albums
Since we may be hanging out at home for a while, it’s time to put a soundtrack to our times indoors. Make your way to the artist’s social media or website to purchase a CD. If CDs aren’t your thing, make sure to stream their music on Spotify, Apple Music, or wherever you listen and share your favorite song on social media.
Buy Merchandise
While online, take a look at the merch. Whether you prefer apparel, stickers or anything in between, each item you collect is a great way to support during these weird times. I don’t know about you, but there is nothing better than an oversized t-shirt of your favorite band!
Follow on Social Media
For a continuous resource of live-streamed shows from “Hub City” artists, join the I Love Lubbock Music! Facebook group. There you will also find additional information for upcoming performances as well as different ways to support. Following the individual’s page and account on social media is a great way to keep up with live shows as well.
Visit Lubbock will also be sharing the details as new performances are announced. Make sure to follow @visitlubbock on Instagram and @visit_lubbock on Twitter. Like us on Facebook to make sure you never miss a show!
Show us how you support Lubbock’s music scene and share your local favorites using #LiveLoveLubbock!
