<p>The 11th Annual <em>Storytellers</em> event is a benefit evening presented by the Covenant Health Foundation.</p>
<p>The evening will open with a pre-concert party, including cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Buddy Holly Center at 1801 Crickets Ave. – and will close with a post-concert reception with the songwriters in Tornado Alley (adjacent to the theatre) from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.</p>
<p>This year’s headlining storytellers are:</p>
<p>-<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Pam Tillis</span>, a world-renowned Grammy winner, CMA “Female Vocalist of the Year,” member of the Grand Ole Opry, and daughter of the incomparable Mel Tillis. Pam has had 6 No. 1 hits and 14 Top Ten hits in her storied musical career.<br />-<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Deborah Allen</span>, who has written and co-written songs for stars like Lee Ann Rimes, Tanya Tucker, Fleetwood Mac, and many others. One of her songs was performed by Mary Griffin on the soundtrack for the movie Coyote Ugly.<br />-<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Victoria Shaw</span>, who has written 6 No. 1 hits for Garth Brooks and an ACM “Song of the Year” for John Michael Montgomery, “I Love The Way You Love Me.” Victoria recently co-produced Lady Antebellum’s platinum debut album.<br />-<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Mike Loudermilk</span>, who has worked with stars like John Schneider, Crystal Gayle, and Tracy Lawrence. Mike’s studio, Nashville Sound Project House, works with some of Nashville’s most famous songwriters and performers.</p>
<p>Proceeds will benefit Covenant Children’s Hospital and will be used to purchase a retina camera, or RetCam, a robust, state-of-the-art digital visualization tool that provides for the diagnosis, documentation, and treatment of retinal injuries related to prematurity and child abuse, among other causes.</p>
<p>Patron tickets are available for $250 each and include pre- and post-concert activities; show-only tickets, which include the concert and post-concert reception, are available for $150.</p>
